Portmarnock Lions support Family Day in Darndale-Belcamp Portmarnock Lions Club were delighted to provide support for the Family Fun day in Darndale held on Saturday 24 August last. The event was organised to support the fantastic community there and was a brilliant success with over 500 people attending on the day where all kinds of events were organised from bouncy castles to a fishing competition. Two of our members were also present on the day where they helped out with the various activities and were delighted to be involved. Our support for the event is part of our involvement with Northside Partnership through their preparing for life programme which supports young families in the area through the provision of useful equipment and skills for parents with new born babies and those starting out in primary school.
